Three musketeers

Nothing makes me happier than returning clients - following someone through different phases of their life is just such a nice thing. Last time I met this little family, they were two, not three - little Leander was simply a tiny little bump on mama's belly. Almost 18 months after our first shoot, we met again, and despite of pouring rain and a little guy that was slightly tired, I love so many of these images! Isn't he adorable?

Trine & Christopher: Norwegian romance

Sometimes, love creeps up on you when you least expect it - like on a rainy Kaizer's Orchestra concert in your late teens. When Trine and Cristopher literally bumped into each other in the crowd, I doubt that any of them realized how significant that moment would be for their future. And yet, 25th of June 2016, I got to photograph their wedding in the most beautiful surroundings of my home town Bergen. When Trine contacted me last year, I initially had to decline her request - I'm in Australia, after all. But what's a 40 hour flight, really? I left Melbourne on the evening of June 23rd, and on the morning of Saturday 25th, I witnessed this beautiful couple promise each other forever. While I cried like a baby. Getting engaged myself has not made it any easier watching "I do"-s with my dignity intact, I can tell you that. It gets me every time! Have I mentioned that I love my job?

Trine and Cristopher, thank you for letting me take part in your day - and I wish all the happiness in the world for your little family (they are fresh parents to a little puppy!)

Nanje and Kurt's city engagement session

I've been looking forward to doing a proper urban engagement shoot ever since I sat foot in this wonderful city. And when I first met Nanje and Kurt, and they told me their wedding will be a modern city style one, there was little doubt we had to do an engagement session to match it! For two hours, we walked the streets, stopped in coffee shops, shot in beautiful grafitti laneways and captured some beautiful moments. I'm so exited for the wedding to come!
